For our upcoming May 16 program we will feature Steve Dietrich as our featured speaker, and his presentation will be about techniques of antique German painted furniture.
Steve is the owner of Dietrich’s Early American Furniture Reproductions (DEAFR) near Fredericksburg, Virginia. His work can be seen in George Washington’s replica boyhood home, Ferry Farm, in Fredericksburg, VA.
An expert on the German style of painted furniture, Steve will demonstrate color blending techniques that are unique to this antique and historic style. Steve holds an MA in History and has published extensively on military history and the history and reproduction of selected early American furniture.
