The club’s annual event is just 5 days away, with many arriving on setup day this Friday. We have nearly 75 tables reserved with many new dealers, and we’re aware of many attendees arriving from across the country. The Friday afternoon weather forecast includes scattered showers so it might lend itself to scattered tailgating!

We are accepting early bird admissions for a $20 fee on Friday afternoon in the dealer area. In addition to allowing you entry for Friday set up day, this fee also covers Saturday morning for one hour at 7 AM, before the doors open for FREE to the general public. Many dealers arrive Saturday morning so early bird admission on Saturday at 7-8 AM is not to be missed. The doors open to the public at 8AM.
Early bird attendees will be entered into a raffle with the winner receiving $50 credit (to be presented by PATINA to a dealer) towards a purchase. Obviously, the winner must be present to win on Saturday morning.
Our Auction has no buyers premium for cash or check payments. For the Auction only, we will be accepting credit cards, with a small fee to cover the cost.
The auction will commence at 2PM and will be called by Scott Bendinsky.
As usual, Scott will be selling a large amount of tools in the tailgate area along the curb before the auction so buy a lot from him early!
The vast majority of tailgaters arrive early Saturday and the weather looks promising. We don’t charge a fee for tailgate selling but a board member will likely come around asking for a donation to help cover facility costs. A $15 donation by a tailgate seller will also allow them to become a club member for 2024.
We remind everyone that this event is run by volunteers and the board is aging out. We will lose several board members this year so all future events are at risk. We need a treasurer trainee immediately, and an auction manager to coordinate the auction next year, with an existing and experienced volunteer auction team.
