The PATINA club urgently needs your help!
PATINA programs and tool trading events have benefitted many in the past, and we need just a few to support the mission.
In an unfortunate coincidence, the President and Vice President are moving out of the area, and we have board members who are retiring. We urgently need volunteers to join the board and take on a leadership role.
The primary responsibility of the President is to coordinate an auction committee. Especially at risk would be the 2026 Damascus Auction. A team of volunteers steps up every year but we must have someone to lead the team and that is the President’s primary role. Under the President’s guidance, the committee members accept consignments from donors, work as a team to store and organize the items, photograph them, and develop a list. Most of the effort occurs between January and March. Additionally, the President holds a brief meeting with the board, either via ZOOM, or after a meeting. As a 501(C) 3 organization, the President must be a responsible individual and put the interests of PATINA first.
The primary role of the Vice President is to coordinate the programs for the five meetings held in Jan, May, July, Sept, Nov. This communication is developed by the VP.
If you are interested in further understanding any role, and supporting our charitable organization, please contact a board member asap. We are approaching our 50th anniversary and it will be a shame if we can’t continue.
